Greatest US Film of All Time

June 25, 2007 · 4 Comments

The Greatest US Film of All Time as voted for by the American Film Institute is…. CITIZEN KANE by Orson Welles.

Sad thing is… I’ve never seen the movie.  Only snippets of the masterpiece.  I’ve been trying to get hold of a copy for my private collection, but haven’t been able to for the past 10 years.  I’ll gladly settle for a VCD copy if there was one available (right now!).

I also have a lot of catching up to do as I only have 3 out of the top 10 in my collection (i.e. The Godfather, Gone With the Wind, Schindler’s List).  Woe is me…
